When I swapped over the a shimano external bb from a blur classic to an LT2, all I had to do was use 1 less spacers (on the non drive side I think). Not a big deal, there are notes on their website somewhere about which spacers to use on which side to get the proper chain line.. Not sure about the FD tho, since I don't run one any more.a1m80t said:Not quite, I"m pretty sure:
The xcC uses a bottom swing FD and a 73mm BB.
My 2007 SC uses top swing FD and 68mm BB.
I am using XTR Cranks, the 960 model year...I have no idea if its 68 or 73. Are all cranks the same?a1m80t said:Not quite, I"m pretty sure:

Cranks will work fine, it's the bb spacers you need to change:jimmy said:I am using XTR Cranks, the 960 model year...I have no idea if its 68 or 73. Are all cranks the same?
Per the Golden Bike Shop, who is doing the job for me, I need a new FD.a1m80t said:Not quite, I"m pretty sure:
