Hi

I have bought some X9 Shifters, but from two different shops (they had sold out of the one shifter in the first shop). I thought the silver padel lever denoted them being the 2006 versions. But I must be wrong, both have the same style lever to go up the gears (the large silver ones), but the small levers are different. The left one you have to almost push up and the right hand one is a push forward motion.

Any ideas which is the 2006 version?

The newer ones are the forward push style. The newer ones also use 4 small allen head screws to hold the shifter pod together and the older ones use 3 screws.
