X9 shifter coming loose

Hey guys, When ever I shift the thumb padle on my X9 shifter it turns the star shapes nut on top of the shifter a 1/4 turn. After a few shifts the shifter case is loose. Anyone been through this? Sugestions ? (besides buy a new shifter.)

have you tried tightening the bolt on the underside of the shifter that screws into that nut?

Yep tried that

Thanks for the reply, yep the bolt is tight on the bottom and the shifter is wroking fine as long as I tighten the star nut every 5 shifts, lol
