The problem I have with these pictures is that the work bench is way too clean. This can't be a real shop.

BTW, great pics of some great bikes.

you know the ironic thing?
we just recently redid the workbench and have been real anal about cleaning and putting tools back when done..
before that, it was complete chaos.. people used to joke about it..

That blue really shows off the welds.

a few more....

Or is it just me? It seems like the blue really makes the welds stand out more than the other colors. Red seems to do that also.

And City Lights....?

I've seen the few shots that Larry Mettler has posted, but I'd like to see a few more.

I don't know what Sherwood does, but the paint jobs on Ventanas just seem to be a cut above everyone else.

it's the color
well, more the powdercoat process
I am not 100% sure but I am 99% that it's a two coat process
a chrome base with a transluscent blue clear coat

I will do a few tomorrow of the Grinch Green

also, I had a LOT of light on the frame and no flash

I love good PC jobs

Also, is it me, or is the website OLD?
Yep,
Our website has lived its course. Sheeshh, we haven't even done the brushed finish for at least five years. Look for our all new site later this month or early next...we will even have current product shown if you can believe that. And we have full control with this new one so it should stay current. The new site is being built by an MTBR member so it is gonna be really cool.

And our Blue and Reds powder coats are actually a two coat process and the Super dust is three...it is about three times as expensive for our powdercoating as anodized finishes (contrary to popular belief). That's why our price point bikes Pantera and Chamuco are shot peened and anodized instead of powdercoated.

Cheers,
Sherwood

I envy you Charles to keep your bench that clean...........

As even when I "PROMISE" myself and everyone else that my area will stay clean, it always looks like a tornado went screaming through within hours after a good cleaning. Luckily, I haven't lost too many tools.........yet.........

Great pics, and a good idea to put the frames on the bench. Don't mind if I steal that one, do you?

Question for ya, Sherwood....

I always kicked myself for not getting one of my myriad Marble peaks in the brushed powdercoat finish. Did you guys do that finish yourselves or did you also send those off to, uh, was it Tad Hatch?

jes curious

Hey Sherwood

Just curious, do you re-powdercoat frames. My Superdust Salty just seems so plain after seeing those colors. Love that blue.
