What's the cleanest (easiest) Way to go tubless with DT's X470? I was going Stan's but now I've learned of Caffe, I'm sure there's more out there.

I am running stans with nevegals and everything is working great. If you go with stans, don't buy just the normal 29 kit, they have a specific kit for the 470s.

I just looked on Stan's website and found no mention of the X470 (either a specific kit or a generic one).

If you go to the page with all of the tubeless packages, there is a 29er System and a Plus Four System, for the 470, you want the Plus Four System. They do not have the 470 listed on the "what system do I need chart", so I called them and that is the one they said works with the 470. I know the tire has as much to do with ease of installation as the rim, but I had no problems with getting the 470/Nevegal set up. Now I had a compressor, and the tire had a tube in it for a while, both of which help in my experience.

If that is the route you are going to go, give them a call, they were pretty helpful.

It will depend on the tire you use. I wont run a standard tire tubeless anymore as I have peeled tires to often on all types of 29er rims. If you use TLR tires then the strip won't matter.
