Does anybody have words of wisdom on how to permanently address the loosening of the main pivot bolt near the bb? Taking the crank arm off to tighten the pivot bolt regularly definitely seems like something I should not have to do with such an expensive frame. Has anybody addressed this issue?

I'd try some blue Locktite on the nut or bolt

I had this problem on my own X5,although none of the other Ventana frames I have sold have suffered from a loosening problem.I changed to the stainless lower pivot kit that has the bolt thread straight into the other part of the pivot body and used Loctite on the threads and I have had no further problems.It does seem strange how the odd frame seems to suffer from this,as I said mine has been the only one from the many I have sold.

My main pivot came loose once about 2 months after I started riding it. I put some blue loctite on it, tightened it up, and it has been solid ever since. Don't know what else to tell you. -t

X5 Exotica fixed from squeeking

Same thing here....after a few rides the new X5 Exotica started creeking. I pulled apart the lower pivot, cleaned it up, applied a thin layer of grease on everything, and sealed it up with some blue lock-tite. No more Squeeky......
