So Saturday's 30 miler in the rain and mud finally finished off my '04 FSA ISIS BB, and it's been in there so long I can't recall what size I should be ordering. Is it 73x113? FWIW, I've got quad bearings and am running about 1mm of spacer to clear the chainring bolts. Couldn't find the info on the Ventana site's FAQ. Thx,
- Joe

I ran a 113 FSA ISIS on my Salty....

....I have quad bearings and I still needed a 1mm spacer to keep the granny bolts from clipping the main pivot assembly.

This is your opportunity to go external BB. You wont regret it.
Yep, my mega-Exo works and fits flawlessly...

...Really happy with my Truvativ Stylo Carbon Mega Exo.

Yebbut...

I got about 3 years out of the FSA, so I'm not seeing the advantage to the external system. I guess my grocery runs when the sun's out and the birds are chirping are not too taxing on my BB. That'd require new cranks, too, right? I can think of other upgrades that might have a better payback for me. Now if I could locate a set of Gusset Pigmy BMX cranks with a Euro BB, I'd consider making the switch.... Still, thanks for the input.

That's correct 113x73 with that 1 mm spacer on the driveside. I'm trying to wear out my XT ES71...it's been on four bikes and keeps running smoooooth as butter.
