Is anyone using X.0 grips for their endurance ride/race bike? Looking for any potential downfalls of using them for longer ride times.

I have been wondering the same thing...

I have a bike that will be set up with X.0 and I am concerned about the housing getting contaminated. I don't want to affect the shifting so much that I can not shift at all. If this becomes a problem, I may go to full cable housing for the shifting.

Been using my XO rear mech and XO shifters for endurance racing all this year. Done 8 and 24 hour races with some 12 and 24 hour races coming up. I wouldn't use anyhting else fwiw!
I have been using the X-9 triggers and rear der. combo on my 2 race biks, and all I can say is that it is the shiz-nit. Works better than any shimano rapid fire stuff i've used.
