$1000 sounds like getting bent over to me...you can build a nearly identical wheelset for almost $250 less!

-WTB Laser TCS XC rims (32 hole)
-American Classic Hubs
-DT Supercomp spokes
-Alloy nipples
-Stans Yellow Tape and Universal Valves

$754.58 built at Universal Cycles and only 1480g

I think the Stryker has welded rims. the aftermarket wtb tcs rims are sleeved
Well that is worth $250:rolleyes:

Assuming that is true (not on the WTB website anywhere) it makes little difference, sleeved rims work just fine. I've had no issues with them in the 19+ years of riding.
