If you've got a Prime and the terrain to ride and really use it on, there's nothing I'm seeing out there right now that would give any good reason to sell it, but maybe that's just me. Think that those with Primes who buy Phantoms will be using them with slightly lighter builds for maybe longer rides, although it is hard to go back from a solid, no worries build, that you know won't leave you walking, even if you could drop a few pounds.
Not sure exactly how I'll be building my Phantom finally, but initially I'll be borrowing the TRACE from the Prime, maybe trying a 140mm Velvet I have with a 650B wheel as well for some giggles, but overall same build as Prime - mainly XT with NukeProof hubs laced to WTB ST i25 rims and or the trusted old Pro2/Flows, but would eventually like to get some lighter, wide rimmed wheels, not sure if I'll lighten up on the tyres, just don't like slashed sidewalls our coral can dish out on "lesser" tyres.
Thanks for the link woodson, but I was looking for a production frame.
And for not that much more money, I purchased a bnib frame from the seller Freeridin' suggested!! Had numerous pm's as well as a phone conversation with Ethan from Dirtmerchant, and I feel really good about the new purchase coming my way.
