I know the old adage "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" holds true 99% of the time, but I was wondering if upgrading my current Pike 29 160 from just a "RC" 13 point/click compression adjustment, to the "RC3T" with three position compression and LSC gate.
I'm assuming of course there is advantage to having the full meal deal, but I also am mindful that added complexity sometimes causes unintended headaches such as increased maintenance, malfunctions, etc.
So, assuming it can be done without breaking the bank, would it be a worthwhile upgrade? I'm torn. I love tech stuff, but I also have been diggin' the stupid simplicity of one adjustment while riding.
