I don’t care. I expect it’ll do exactly what I want it to.
I just serviced the 210mm dropper hidden by this ugly 3” motorcycle innertube. The dropper had 2 tablespoonfuls of gray-brown sludge — which used to be grease — in its bowels.
I didn’t want that to happen again. Not between now and the summer riding season. I want to be done servicing dropper posts for a while (just did 3 in the past 2 days.)
Winter riding in the PNW is real deal. Sometimes we have to resort to drastic measures.
Fortunately I don’t care what this bike looks like. I only care that it’ll perform as it should plus require minimum maintenance during the off season.
If this system don’t perform as well as its off putting appearance promises, I’ll report back here. Meanwhile I’m going to laugh at the puddles, the mud, the slush, the stream crossings, etc. while I enjoy awesome PNW winter riding.
