So I can't help myself. I now have a video camera and it is my goal to video all those fun trails in Sedona and provide a information sheet to give tourons an idea what Sedona riding is like and how to navigate the trail system. You will need a GPS to have half a clue where to go, maps don't help much.

I recognize those trails:D Good stuff TD! Is your riding buddy on a Turner 6 pack/RFX perhaps? I might have seen him as I was coming out on Thunderbird dr. last Sunday during my ride.
He said he thinks you were riding a grey or silver Specialized. Too bad we didn't hook-up.

I was on my RIP Niner... Do you remember me? I came across you and the Sunday crew from Mtn. Bike Heaven last year out near Boyton Canyon. I rode with you guys for awhile before heading back to my mom's via Girdner and other trails.
My neghbor said he saw this guy wiz by on (he thought a Specialized) a silver bike. I do remember meeting up with someone and maybe we recommended you ride back to your mom's on Girdner.

The next time you come up we will ride Ledge'n'Airy. That is the perfect ride for a niner.
The trail is north of the High School and you can finish up on SE when you head back to your mom's.

Have you done Under the Radar yet? That could also be an alternate to riding SE.

TD, if this trail is a offshoot of "High School" then, I have ridden it once. It dumped me out on the lower portion of "Old Post". I haven't hit Ledge'nAiry yet... I'll hit you up next month when head up for another visit.

The Radar's run from the highest point in West Sedona to lowest point of Red Rock Crossing. The High School (locals call it Bike Path) trail runs below Under the Radar for about 1/3 of a mile when leaving from the high school then drops down and crosses over Bike Path then crosses Old Post then crosses Rams Head before ending in the Carroll Canyon Wash.

There are so many 'off the beaten path' trails now in the west Sedona area... I'm having fun exploring just about every time I'm up there.
