I'm looking at this headset to create an ha around 67deg. This seems to be the standard nowadays :)

Seriously. I would like to make the bike a bit more stable on the descents and steep chutes. Any opinions about this upgrade? Already have a revelation 150mm but another degree off might be interesting. I have the al70 version.

hi,

i did this first, it helped and then added some offset bushings made at my work. The latter improved the bike behaviour on the down further without any effect on the climbing since the SA is quite steep in original setting. i didn't measure any angles since i don't care wheelbase is now 1142mm with a fox 32 140 mm and medium frame. Handling is still snappy but with added stability on the down. Definitely worth to try .Reliability of the headset is gd no pb with noise, loosening or whatsoever. Take your time to install properly and pay attention at cups alignement. For little money the bike's character is change in a positiv and modern way.
