While I ended up not being able to get everything off Ebay or the MTBR Classifieds, as certain catagories tended to get bid up way over cost, most of my next race bike was bought on the cheap. Not all the parts are in yet- so I will post a photo when built.

2001 Klien Attitude Race frame, gold, size 20" (Ebay) used
Ritchey Scuzzy Logic Pro headset (free with frame- Ebay) used
2004 Manitou Black Super 80 SPV (ordered from Hawley- I wanted to try SPV and everyone was bidding these up way too high) new
2004 Syntace F99 Stem 120 (Dirtboy) new
2004 MaxM carbon flat bar (that smokin' Ebay deal posted here- thanks!) new
2003-04? MaxM Carbon seatpost 31.6, (Ebay) used
03-04? Alliante Ti railed saddle (Ebay)
2004 Shimano XT crank/bb combo (ordered from Hawley- no deals on a carbon crank so I went with something I can move to a later frame as the Klein uses a 73 BB)
Avid Mag brakes already tuned (MTBR Classifieds)- used
Avid Mag levers (Ebay)- new!
2004 SRAM X.0 rear derailler and twist shifters (Ebay) new
2004 SRAM PC-89R chain (ordered from QBP- ebay shipping and costs too high) new
2004 Shimano XT cassette (11-34) and XT front derailler (ordered from QBP- Ebay too pricey) new
2004 American Classic Mountain 350 non-disc wheelset, 28 spoke front, 32 spoke rear, built with Sapim CX-Ray spokes, steel QR's (ordered direct from Amclassic) new
Eggbeater pedals, either a set of Twin Ti's currently on my cross bike (used) or a set of used Stainless pedals I just scored off Ebay.
2004 Nokian NBX Lite 2.0 tires (Ebay), appear to be used once- probably were too small for seller.
Serfas dual density grips (free!)

I may go with a different frame down the line, but most of the other parts are keepers.

BTW- I weigh 180 and race road so I can put out decent power which is why no SID or other weight restricted parts. Also the trails can be a bit rough around here, so I am interested in how the Nokians will handle the local conditions.
