Just kidding folks... Things are getting too serious around here.
No can do flip...hitting the gym for a bit before I head to the store.flipnidaho said:Nick, let's go for a SS ride tomorrow... the trails are in awesome condition... We just got back from a 1.5 hour SS ride...
I think everyone knows her. I first met her when she was still at Boise HS and she started climbing at my Downtown Y wall. I think this was before she got into MTB'ing!!!BTW- Tell Jenny Hennessy I said Hello... Her and I go way back (she is one of the first people I rode with when I first moved here)...
accident just after it happened on Fairview by Winco. I was royally P.O.d and concerned all at the same time. Saw a crunched bike under this big Dodge compensator truck. made me sick.BelaySlave said:Just heard the traffic report on KTIK 1350 AM and a bike versus car accident just occurred. She also mentioned that there were two similar accidents yesterday too.

That was me on the white On-One Inbred with two dogs. If I would have paying attention that you were on a SS, I would have stop to chat. Since I have only been riding a SS since December I decided to be patient with myself and went from a 32X18 to a 32X20 and it has made things much more enjoyable. The smaller gear has forced me to re-learn high rpm spinning. Or just sit back and enjoy the Chris King buzz. As the new SS muscles are developing I am tempted to try a 19 tooth.BelaySlave said:If it was.....
I was the one off to the side of Bucks that said to you something along the lines of "You make SS'ing look easy!".
Did fine with 32x18 for most of the Reserve. Only had to push the bike a couple of times to get to Central Ridge via the Military Reserve Trail and I did take a good number of breaks. Going with a 20 in the back probably woulda made it easier, but it drives me nuts to be spinning like crazy going downhill.
That was my Element you saw Tuesday night. From the Ft. Boise parkign lot, my buddy Sean and I rode up the reserve and back down, up the connector, up the freeway, up sidewinder, up Devil's Slide, down 6/5, up the dirt road, up 26A to Shane's, down Shane's, down Bucktail, down Central ridge, and then down into the end of the Black Forest. Fantastic loop. I thought I saw you climbing the beginning of Bucktail right as I got to the end. I stopped and yelled your name, but you were chugging along.BelaySlave said:Do you know these folks?.....
Several nights ago when I was peddaling through Fort Boise, I saw a green Honda Element with plates that said "Bike Box" or sumpin' like that.
