Hey All...

I've heard some different views on storing bikes long term for the winter. I've got an 08 EX8...I've heard that they shouldn't be stored outside in the cold. I've heard that they shouldn't be hung up by their front wheel as that is hard on the fork.

I've currently got mine sitting in my basement but it's kind of a PITA. Is the garage too harsh for the bike and it's suspension? Should I not hang it up by a tire?

As long as it is out of the sun light, low to no humidity, and clean you should be fine. The position should make no difference. I have hung bikes upside down and up right against a wall with good results.

Cool, thanks. I've got a two story garage so I was going to wheel it up the stairs for the winter...just didn't want anything bad to happen to the seals or anything with the cold.
