Look what arrived via UPS today!

'09 DWL Turner Sultan, L, Raw

Both my first 29er & my first Turner. A huge thanks to Alex at Cycle Progression in Austin, TX. Great to deal with, even with me currently living in MA.

I'm still in the process of assembling the build kit, but everything should be here by early Feb. if the I-9s arrive as expected. More details to be added here as the build progresses.

Nice to see another '09 Sultan in MA already! I have to say you're a very patient man if you can wait six weeks to get it built, but it's probably worth it for the I9's. You must be able to ride through much of the winter over there by the coast, no?

The raw looks good; did you get a frame weight?

I'm going to try to take it in to work Friday and weigh it there. I'll post the numbers then.

Yeah, near the coast I can ride sometimes in the winter . . . though the trails can be icy, especially after these storms. I've yet to try ToT or Otis (I only moved to MA in 2007, from AL), but they'll probably be where I try this thing out first.
