Winter Project Finally Done

This here bike was my winter project that I finally finished this weekend. I got the frame a couple of weeks before Christmas and have been scamming parts out of my wife ever since. The fact that I'm in Jersey and we had more than a foot of snow on the ground pretty much all winter helped me with my impatience. This is the rundown:

- '09 Orange P7 frame (custom painted Kawasaki green)
- Race Face Evolve SS cranks
- Easton EA70 wide flat bars
- Ritchie 4 Axis 44 Pro stem
- Avid BB7 brakes
- Sun Ryno-Lite rims with Shimano XT hubs
- Guset SS conversion kit
- WTB Rocket V saddle
- Manitou Sliver fork ( This will be the first thing upgraded. The Sliver was all I had and I needed a fork so on it went and we all know how much Fox forks go for!)

It was worth the wait.....looks very cool! I like the color.
I really like the P7, but I tend not to love slacker head angles. What sort of travel do you have on the bike? What sort of trails are you going to take it on?

Nice bike and I really like the saddle.

The sliver is only a 100mm travel fork and the frame is made for a max of 140. I haven't had it on any trails yet but on the street it seems fine. I ride the rooty rocky stuff that Jersey is known for. I think it'll be alright. Like I said the fork will be the first upgrade but the vault is kind of empty at the moment (peep the hand-me-down tires).
The P7 is a great bike and even better when SS, enjoy it, I love mine! :)
Always liked this frame, I want the lilac color lol. Looks good.
