Any idea how long? Weeks or months?
Wilton Woods (aka Town Forest)
Is officially closed to mountain biking due to current trail conditions. The trails still have 8+ inches of snow, and where there is no snow mud is 6+ inches deep. Wilton Conservation Commission has posted trail closure signs at every entrance and will remain until conditions improve.

Ryan, I am anticipating 3-4 weeks, hoping if we get minimal rain, that first or second week of April, I will be checking conditions weekly and WCC is awaiting my word when thing are okay to bike. When conditions permit, I will remove signs and post a message on all the boards.
i want mass warm weather to melt that stuff! snow belongs on the mountains!

Is officially back open to mountain biking as of today....reminder to tread lightly on any sections that are wet. 95% of the park is dry...ENJOY!
