The AXS motorized derailleur has a second clutch allowing it to absorb impacts and is 10mm shorter. Does anyone know if SRAM is planning on making similar changes to its other Eagle Derailleurs?
Will SRAM update Eagle derailleurs this year

Maybe, but in case of the AXS, the second clutch is there to protect the tiny gearbox inside the derailleur.
The mechanical Eagle don't need this.
