Has anyone done the 'marathon' distance at Wilderness 101? I see it mentioned on the Shenandoah Touring site and even results from this year but can't find any information about the course.

It's way more than 100K. It's over 75 miles, IIRC.

Yeah, it's a generous 100k. Just do the 100 mile and be done with it. It's a great race!

This really does seem like the way to go. That section the marathon skips out toward Boalsburg is really nice, and I don't think the gap between what I'd need from a time or fitness perspective to take a reasonable shot at either is all that big (I will not be fast either way I am sure I would be singing a different tune if I was hoping to stay near the front).
