so i want to increase my winter madness capabilities, and all of these pugsley threads have me lusting, bad...can anyone think of a reason why a pugsley fork with large marge/endomorph would be a total disaster?

please enlighten me.

Other than you are already talking a good percentage of the Pugsley price and you still have to run skinny rear tire. Looking at the prices it seems a good chunk of the price of a Pugsley will be in the tire and rim.

There are some other issues, like geometry change (the Pug fork is longer...I looked it up), but the one I keep thinking about is that by doing this the technical abilities of the rear will stay crosscheck, negating any benefits of the Pug fork and bigger tire on the front of the bike. Sure the front will float and have good traction but if the rear sinks in what's the point?

Sorry to piss on your parade. Just seems like a lot of money and trouble with no real technical benefit.
