I would like to add a 3rd light to try and get some peripheral below and to the sides so I dont get so disoriented when in the air, it doesnt have to be very bright because I already have 2 lights that are bright enough to see ahead comfortably. Currently I dont feel comfortable hitting drops because I cant tell when I'm going to hit the ground since its just blackness below the bike.

Any good ultra wide lights or lantern-like lights that could help light up below the bike? Something around $100, I dont want a $300 light since I wont use it much.

Since my night trail riding style keeps me grounded as much as possible my experiences are non-relevant to your situation but here's a link to a high volume testing site that provides beam shots and beam analysis graphs, maybe you'll see something that looks appropriate there. Of couirse this is untested speculation but I would think something like Ravemen's CR700 that has a pretty wide but low intensity beam might work if your just looking to add a small light aimed down to illuminate your landings.
