Why do SRAM use the X-Gen front for X-0? I dont get how they can bring out new shifters and a rear without having a serious front contender.

Got any ideas why?

Because an X.gen works just fine? Front mechs like the Shimano XTR dif. plate are only prone to a lot of play... Just put the chain on your outer ring and hammer those cranks!
