I wish I could party cause my XC Hard tail isn't made for 4-5ft drops or technical anything,
So I will soon be putting Treks lifetime frame warranty into use after I come back from a local FR park.
I'm set on the W.F.O. but My wallet isn't
That's what I call a holiday party

Congrats :D
hey guys here goes some more pics. i just threw on the shock and front derailer. she is a beauty, i can tell by the girth of the hydroformed tubes and the welds this bike is not gonna flex for anything! but man im going through a bad case of upgraditis. i was gonna just throw on my jet 9 parts and call it day, but my front hub wont fit, so i thought "should i just get new hub?" but then i thought "maybe ill just sell my current wtb/arch wheels and get a new set of flows with hope II hubs" then i thought man "she would look good with some white brakes let me sell my juicy seven brakes and get some hayes strokers" and now im friggen looking at that sweet ass hammerschmidt!!!!! were does it end!!!!:madman: :madman: :madman: somebody stop me!!!

enjoy the pics...

Oh wow you really do have it bad! Pics look great, you can really see the offset in that linkage pic making room for Das Hammerschmidt! Hey might as well 'schmidt it up, I spent 4 hours on one (Nomad) in Switzerland this summer and liked it a lot. I probably wouldn't do it if it was my only bike, but that's not an issue. I'd do it - especially if you are gonna build the JET9 back up.
I sold my Rohloff wheel on the 19th, now if I could sell my RIP frame & 120mm Manitou 20mm, I could probably scrape together the mad money to build one of these. Or keep the 120 and lay down for a 2010 RIP
That's one BAMF.
Looks like I'm gonna party too, gonna get RIPped, come New Years.
here ya go some more pics, added new parts stans flows/hope pro 2 hubs hoops, hayes stroker ace brakes 8" rotors, truvative stylo 3.3 cranks...still need saddle, cassette, chain, nicer grips...

I was going to reccomen a dropper post, but you beat me to it.

Joplin is supposed to br a bit crap compared to the more modern designs.

I use a purerace and think it is great.
Looking good so far. Needs a skid plate to keep that paing in tact though.

Hi I have got a set of the Elixer CR on my Rip9 & have just brought another set to put on my Jet9 & they are very good brakes & I like them but I wouldn't go as far as to say if you haven't got them you are missing somthing if you don't have them,
I like the build.. can't wait to see her complete and read a review from you.

The Elixer CR brakes are great, I tried them for a day on a demo Superfly100, almost too much stopping power for something that light weight. the best thing about them is they always felt the same, NO FADE. Right up there with the best brakes I have ever tried.
thanks i cant wait neither, still need a new chain, cassette, adjustable seat post, grips and the last piece will be hammershcmidt...i gotta get some tools too, since this build im doing my self, need a tork wrench, cassette tool and someother stuff...fun
