Who is riding a Jones?

I saw someone on a Jones 3D Spaceframe & truss fork at Buffalo Creek a few weeks ago and was very intrigued by this frame and fork.

Does anyone here have any experience with the Jones frames and forks? I've been thinking about buying a 29'er and I'm wondering how good of an all-day back-country single-track bike this would be for Colorado riding.

And yes, it is CRAZY expensive :) but it looks like it would last forever and I would never have to rebuild or replace the suspension or replace the bushings.

Or you could talk to James at Black Sheep in Ft. Collins and get a better bike made locally. He does the same trussed front fork and it's beautiful. Check out his website:

First I've heard of them although I've seen them in the SS forum but these things look sweet.

His blog has lots of cool images, etc. http://jonesbikes.com/blog/
Black Sheep is Colorado for Jones.

There's lots of info on Jones on the 29er forum.

Thanks guys, I'll check out Blacksheep. I'll check out the 29er and SS forums as well, was hoping to find someone local on one of these.
I know both James (Black Sheep) & Jeff (Jones) personally. You can't go wrong either way. James is local so and that would be the tipping point for me.

He'd better pay his dues before some pr0n site grabs it
Looks like another better mousetrap gimmick to the two wheeled monster.
