Santa brought me this. Not sure if I'm going to be able to keep it though, I just accepted a new job and might have to hold off on building up a new bike until I get settled into my new job/house.

So

My wife got one for Christmas, although I will admit that I could not wait to give it to her. She got it a couple of weeks ago. It replaced her AS-Rsl, which replaced her Kokopelli.

Your wife gave you permission?

That sort of makes it sound like you're not the head of the house, dude.

While not really "permission" I got the full support of my wife for an ASR-5 or 575 in the near future. Now I just have a pretty big decision to make.

I do not even attempt to pretend my wife is not the boss of the house. If mama ain't happy, daddy ain't happy. I keep her happy and I get to ride and spend obnoxious amounts of money on bikes. Not a bad trade off.

I don't think it's healthy for either one of you to do it that way, but we're getting off-topic, and I probably shouldn't have brought it up in the first place.

Congratulations on the new bike.

Bought myself a 575 frame for Christmas.

(I have to say that I enjoy Christmas much more now that I don't have a wife ruling my finances.)

Got a 2009 DJ frame, turq/white. A complete build kit from Jensen is the next order of business.
