Riding White Rim Trail in Moab on Saturday. One day ride 80+ miles without the road section. I did it a few years ago on a FS bike, over kill. Thinking of taking the Fatback.

Anyone have any experience there on a fattie?

It's great fun on a fat bike. I just did it as a 2 day bikepacking trip going counterclockwise including the road section. It came out to about 104 miles with about 15.5 hours of total time. We took plenty of breaks and were riding loaded singlespeeds which slowed us down a bit. On the positive side, the sandy sections were no problem and traction on the climbs was great. I plan on doing it again some day.
We did see other fatbikers out on the trail as well near the end. Unfortunately, they were having so much fun they were actually running uphill traffic off the road.
