Whistler Bike Season

Accommodation should be much cheaper in September than during the ski season, especially mid-week. Another option to consider is Squamish. You could probably find a cheaper place down there, Squamish also has some great riding, and it would be approximately 30-40 minute drive to Whistler. A third option to look into would be Riverside camp ground.

As for the bike park, I think it might be 7 days/week until late September and possibly even until early October.

Often, September is the best month to bike in Whistler. Not as hot as July or August, but still often a nice temperature. The few degrees cooler can make a nice difference when doing an epic ride or wearing a bunch of armour in the park. If you want bike park, it's open 7 days/week in September and is open until early October. If you're more interested in the other trails in town, they should be good as well. Plus, the trails are less busy in the fall than in the summer.

In general, I'd say September is typically good, and October can be ok but runs the potential to have a bit more rain.
