I just bought a Kona Coiller and would like to upgrade the shifters and derailleurs to XT. How do I decide which XT derailleurs are right for this particulat bike? Joe Kona suggests a trip to the bike shop but I would prefer to search for the best prices on the components online. Is there anyplace that will tell me which models fit which bikes and the advantages/disadvantages of each?

You should check your LBS for some take off derailleurs that someone upgraded, they usually sell them at a good price. Plus they can tell you what derailleur you really need. :idea:
