Its winter, and time for new tires on my race bike. Im racing cross-country in wisconsin in the WORS Series. Some relatively affordable options I found are the Kenda Karma for $70 a pair, the Kenda Blue Groove Lite for $60 a pair, and the Maxxis Ignitor Exception for $45 a pair. Which of these tires would reccommend for the midwest riding I will be doing? Also what are some other race tires you like?

Thanks

I would stay away from an Exception series on the rear (way thin sidewalls), I race WORS and run a Maxxis Ignitor exception on the front and a Bonty xdx on the rear, or a SB8 would be great as well.

I would go for the kenda karma. It is really light for how much of a tread pattern it has and it rolls really fast. You probably don't want something that has too small of knobs because of the rocks and roots. Also the karma has a good spread out pattern for mud.
