Which Size?

So im hoping sooner or later im going to pull the trigger and buy the sette ace, if it remains on sale at $999..

What size should i get, i have a 30 inch inseam and im just shy of 5' 7" tall. iv looked at the geometry and compared it to my diamondback response, and im considering the 16.5 inch Ace frame, because im going to be running a fairly long stem, with a flat bar. My diamondback response frame is the 18 inch. Here are some geometry measurements... They are fairly close. idk if i will feel cramped on it or not.

I say medium, main reason because your medium DB Fits you, so why would you want to go 1.5 inches smaller when they are very close to being the same Geo?
How long is the stem you are using/going to use ?

using a 60mm with a low riser bar rightnow, going to an 80mm with a flat bar
18 inch size if your inseam is bike inseam .

so inseam is the magic number huh?
the top tube length is 1/2 an inch shorter than my db for the 16.5 inch, with only an inch of standover difference

The more I think about it the more I like the idea of the 16.5 for you just because of the standover. See the other topic for the explanation.

Only part of the equation , you have to be able to straddle it so standover is one component . Reach to the bars is another , thats why I asked about stem length . Effective top tube/cockpit length is probably the most important component . Cockpit can be tweaked with stem and bars .
Just pulled the trigger, got the 16.5", and now i wait!

Welcome to the growing family of Sette Owners.

Waiting sucks, but you it should ship today with any luck you can have it by next weekend.
