will a dhx fit my bike though? anybody know?MX 887 said:hmm since you can't push it i would say dhx
I'd go DHX if you're pedaling on it. I've got one on my Mini-Free and it's done me well. What's the eye-to-eye measurement on your shock? Measure from the middle of one eye to the middle of the other. That's the measurement you need to find out if you can fit a DHX.Ace_Jellyfish said:will a dhx fit my bike though? anybody know?
im talking about it hitting my framePhoto-John said:I'd go DHX if you're pedaling on it. I've got one on my Mini-Free and it's done me well. What's the eye-to-eye measurement on your shock? i believe they make a 7.875x2.25 version, ill have to checkdamion said:It should not be a problem, unless it is a small frame. I have an XL 2003 Gemini, with a 5th coil.
The stock size is 7.875x2.25.
My shock is a 8.0x2.25", and it BARELY fits in the long travel position.

well i have a medium and im thinking about getting a DHX probably and they have huge resivors, i think theyre bigger than 5ths? i dont want to buy a shock to only have it dent my frame when fully compresseddamion said:It should not be a problem, unless it is a small frame. call up fox and just ask them, even if someone gives a strait answer, u should still call them, im pretty sure that they make remote resivoirs so u can mount it on the frame somewhere, if not then the only other option is to get a different shock, if it comes down to taht try the 5th cvt5, one of my friends has one of them and he loves itAce_Jellyfish said:well i have a medium and im thinking about getting a DHX probably and they have huge resivors, i think theyre bigger than 5ths? i dont want to buy a shock to only have it dent my frame when fully compressed
