Which Rockshox had the titanium crown?

I am trying to find which SL model had the machined ti crown. It looks like it might be a mag30 but info online is minimal.

I don't think there was ever a RockShox fork with a titanium crown. The early forks had magnesium crowns and the current one's have aluminum crowns. Carbon fiber crowns and steerers have also been used.

Yeah. I thought the only sl was the mag 21 sl and it only had ti hardware (bolts and bosses).
the mag 20 was the older version, the mag 30 the cheaper version and neither had an sl version. But could be wrong of course.

Confirmed, I had a Mag 21 SL. Ti hardware only. I've known Ti steerers, springs, and stanchions on production forks but if anyone made an aftermarket Ti crown for a Mag 21 it's buried deep in someone's old parts bin.

The Mag 21 SL Ti had Ti bolts and brake bosses if I remember right. The crown was the same as the regular 21. The Mag 20 had the fun crown recall, which allowed me to get a thread less steerer for free! 😂

Mag-21 SL Ti had a unique crown that was further machined on the underside. It was aluminum but lighter (and less stiff) that the normal Mag series crown. Its obvious if you look at the underside.

The Paris Roubaiux road fork came with a titanium steerer. It was a Mag derived fork so the crown/steerer may be swap-able.

Gen 1 SID had a Ti steerer option, that's the closest I can think of for early stuff. I would think machining a Ti crown would be insanely expensive because of material loss for a quality product.
You seem to be comparing Quadra to Mag 21 SL Ti. You do not drop 200 grams with some small titanium BS on a fork. 🤣👊

In the link the Mag 21 is listed at 1225g the mag 21 SL is listed at 1043g, so 182g difference

Thanks for chiming in with the opinion though. Really added to the discussion.

Yeah, but it would probably make the fork flex even more, which was kind of the trend, make the fork as noodlely as possible.
