I'm Looking to run a dual light setup using two led based lights. I was looking at either the Planet Bike Super Spot, or the Cateye EL500. Anyone had any experience with these lights? They both look really nice, and I think two of either should provide me with plenty of light to ride on paved roads at night (not to mention look pretty cool).

I ride with two Cateye EL200 and like them, the smaller sibling to the EL500.

I keep one on constant and one on flashing.

If you are riding on city or sububan roads, then these will be bright enough because there is also illumination from the overhead street lights.

These lights are really good at broadcasting your presence to motorist, but they are not the best for lighting up the road surface in front of you.

Battery life is excellent on these LED lights. I bought a set of rechargable AA batteries and one charge will last up to one week of riding.
