So, I have been lurking on here learning what I can about DIY lights.

To help me along, I got two soldering irons from my mother-in-law for Christmas...I am pretty sure she had no idea what she was getting. :)

Here are the links to the two she bought...should I keep one or both?

Thanks in advance,
Bryceorama

Keep them both but you'll probably never use the gun for lights.

I have a small 15w iron and a 50w station yet the other week I could have done with one of those guns. Keep everything........as you never know!

I'd use the 140W for "big wire" soldering stuff on cars and the like. The 40W should work well for bike lights.
