Which full suspension carbon around $3500 that’s available

After researching some of the replies in the previous posts I looked around as to what exactly is available to order within a couple weeks/months.

I’m 5’11” 200lb usually ride a large frame.

40yrs old not jumping more than 2’ mostly riding trails. Including 30% up 30% down and 40% flat. NW Florida area. Lots of roots some sand.

I currently ride a 2013 Felt edict nine Ltd. It was a great bike in its day but getting dated I feel. Also it’s not really a trail bike with 100mm travel.

I’ve narrowed my search down to carbon frames as this is my preference and for that price I feel I should go with that. I’ve checked LBS and no full suspensions in stock and no preorders. It’s a mess.

YT Izzo core 2 (I know not full carbon)

Intense 951 XC (120mm travel but I think this will suffice)

Motobecan HAL boost 29SL (nice components)

Fezzari Delano Peak Comp (over budget)

YT Izzo core 3 (over budget)

If anyone has links to other prospects I may be missing in stock post them. And any advice which to pick much appreciated.

carbon frame seems like the wrong place to spend your money at that price point, even if you weren't 200lbs.

I’m not aware of any brands with carbon bikes below $3500 at the moment. The Fezzari, and intense are about as close as you get for brands people have heard of. In fact, getting a good quality aluminum framed bike at that point isn’t a guarantee, and it takes a bit of shopping around for good value ones at that price point as well.

On the other hand, you could get an Ibis Ripley AF for your budget, and I think it would suit you quite well. Or perhaps a Marin Rift zone 29.

Plastic, I mean carbon is over rated.

For that money you can get an aluminum frame with much better componentry, (which is where the quality of ride really comes from) than a carbon frame at the same price point.

I’m not trying to get into a carbon verse aluminum debate. There are several reasons why I prefer the carbon: feel, look, durability, and perhaps unwarranted appearance of being a quality bike which offered better resale value and bragging rights.

There are also options at the price point and available so (I listed them, they have been mentioned before so now be aware) so I would like to stick with it. If there is something wrong with the ones listed blast away.
Well, based on your reply, I would ask how would you warranty the frame if you have issues? For example, my riding buddy bought a Trek 9.6 (9.8?) carbon full squish.
He's a big, strong dude. He cracked the frame at the BB. Local bike shop warrantied the frame without question, switched all the components over for free and gave him a loner the entire time his bike was down.
I don't think you'll get that from mail order bikes.
Motobecane's are know to be delivered in a state that isn't even safe to ride. So, make sure you have a full set of tools and know how to use them as you'll likely need to disassemble the bike and put it back together.
I don't know anything about Fezzari, but I doubt they have a shop near you.

Bragging rights? You're going to show up to the trailhead on a plastic Motobecane and brag about it?

Enjoy.

Mail order bikes are my only option. LBS doesn’t have any and won’t in the near future. I actually specifically asked for a Fuel 9.8. Also no used bikes that I can find and the ones I’ve seen hundred of miles away cost within a few hundred of what they were new.
Warranty issues all I can go off of is per what these companies websites advertise.
Two blasts on motobecane so I’ll cross it off the list.
I have a Fezzari and really love it. Their service for a direct to consumer brand is amazing. I had a derailleur get caught in my spoke and it flipped it upside down. When it did it broke a small part of the frame. I had a seat stay from Fezzari with in a few days. No I didn’t get a loaner bike, yes I had to wait a little bit, but they replaced what was broke as promised quickly as they could.

Just a thought, while it looks like Framed Bike currently only has a medium in stock for their Foothill, it may be worthwhile to watch their website for a large as their inventory seems to change regularly and without rhyme or reason.

that’s about all you can expect. I don’t think my LBS has hardly any parts in stock anymore. He’s be mail ordering too.
Intense has a 951 trail bike 150mm/140mm
Yes I know, thanks for mentioning it. I chose to list the XC over it as the reviews I read people preferred the XC and said it was more than trail capable plus it’s available at Costco (trail isnt) and way cheaper because of that.
I’d also suggest you look at the new Signal Peak that got released yesterday by Fezzari. They trail version with 120mm travel, would likely be a better fit than the Delano for 40% of your ridding being flat.
True, the Xc has a head angle off 66.5 degrees. slack enough IMO. Trail has a 65.1 HA.
Specialized has the Stumpjumper frames in stock, only 2700, the new SJ is very highly reviewed

I need full bike not just frame

Yup and seems like plenty of happy customers. To be honest it’s #2 on my list behind the Izzo but that’s solely based on gut feeling and reading the forums.

Thanks it does look like a decent option. Looks like it’s a bit pricier than some of my other options also 2months wait (not out of the question but definitely a negative) and rear is only 115mm travel.

I rode a YT Jeffsy for 3 years and loved it. They are good bikes. The Izzo looks super interesting, and would be hard to pass at that price point if they are in stock.
