looking for something w/ a bit more travel than my MOZO XMO. what's the most travel recommended w/out affecting the head angle too much.
I belive it's a 70mm fork, but the steering seems a bit twitchy w/ my shorter stem. That's why I want to move to a bigger travel fork both for comfortable and to slow down the steering a bit.RVM said:maybe even in the 63.
How much travel do you have on that Mozo now? I'd just match that and head angle shouldn't change too much.
You could get a Skareb.. they are cheap in JensonUSA right now.flyingmachine said:I belive it's a 70mm fork, but the steering seems a bit twitchy w/ my shorter stem. That's why I want to move to a bigger travel fork both for comfortable and to slow down the steering a bit.
I switched to a Marzocchi MX Comp coil fork on my '96 Stumpjumper FS (steel frame). Set to 85mm travel, it works extremely well, and is a good match for the frame.flyingmachine said:looking for something w/ a bit more travel than my MOZO XMO. what's the most travel recommended w/out affecting the head angle too much.
