Trying to decide which bike, I think the first two are comparable and the third is sort of a throw in because it basically new, and super light

I tend to ride mostly cross country.. BUT I like the trance\hifi's 5 inch travel for when I do a little "light" downhill ...

So thoughts on best bike for the money?

2008 Gary Fisher HiFi Deluxe $1200
2008 Giant Trance X2 1100.00
2009 Santa Cruz Super light (d kit) 1400.00 (basically new, thus considering)

I'm looking at the same bikes as part of a long list. The Trance has smashed it in the reviews, everyone loves them. Well spec'd, and the frame is v stable on the downhill but climbs like a goat, all round fun times. I've heard more realiable rear shock too.
