Which Alloy Enduro Bike?

What do you guys think should be my next bike? It's so hard to decide.

2021 Commencal Meta AM 29 Essential Build

2021 Transition Spire Alloy Deore Build

Both are $3800. The Spire is like 2 LBS heavier than the Meta. The Meta has better components. The Spire has a ton of hype behind it. Hmmm... they're almost the same bike aside from 10mm of rear travel. Am I wrong?

I am not familiar with either bike but going on what you said i would choose the transition for local shop support for potential warranty issues (even though i do all of my own mechanic work, i still consider it an advantage over DTC model).
the Transition would be bought directly from their website actually. I guess they do direct to consumer as well these days.

Ah, I didn’t know that. Took a closer look. The transition comes with a 1 up bashguide, the commencal has none, so thats “1 up” for the transition. But commencal has mostly slx compared to deore on transition. Tough call, you won’t go wrong either way.

I bought my son a Meta AM and recommended one to my best friend, who got his last year. Phenomenal bike, especially for the bike parks up here in the Northeast. If you're between sizes I'd go down. Commencal has great customer service too.

Haven't ridden the Spire, but have obviously heard the hype.
