I personally like the Prolite, but the Team Race is nice too, and they are the same weight (195 grams). The Team Race is basically an SLR clone, a tad heavier but comfortable. I just picked up two of the last ones that my local Supergo had in stock. I am tuning one of the Team Races down, and have gotten it from 195 g's to 179, and theres room for more.

Nope, Fountain Valley. They did have one left I think.

We're close enoough to ride. Email me (my address is on the "spammish" thread)

Also, like I said in the other thread, if you can't get one I'll sell you one of mine for the price I paid for it.

Oh, and you're right, the Epic is fast. I just wish I could say the same for it's rider... :D

How do you tune down the saddle. Do you just start scrapping away material or something ? Those saddles look like the best bang for the buck, too bad they don't have them anymore.
There are plastic pieces screwed in the bottom that don't appear to have any structural purpose, other than to protect the vinyl covering. I unscrewed those, then I cut an eliptical shape on the bottom side of the saddle, similar to the hole that comes from the factory on the Prolite. This got me down to 179 grams. Next I am thinking of peeling back the vinyl on the nose and grinding off some of the material there that I will never use, maybe some from the rear also, then reattaching the vinyl. I should be able to get the saddle into the 160's, maybe lighter.
