So I have a Giant SS in size 21. It currently weighs 19.35 pounds as pictured. I know that it will be lighter with some Twister supersonics. But that wont be until spring/summer. The lock on pedro's grips are on there until summer too. But where else can i save some weight?

The rear brakes are Avid SD Ti. The rear lever is a Paul. The rims are Sun UFO. I hope the rest of the parts are visible in the pics.

For the money and the weight savings the SDG seatpost system is great. $77.00 for a 112g saddle and $45.00 for the proprietary seatpost. The post is a bit stocky @ 242g but if you cut it down you can trim some of that. Also get rid of those pedals, Shimano M959 weigh 349g while Crank Brothers Egg Beater SL's weigh 266g. Not only do you save weight with the crank bros. but in my opinion they perform better. Also you could get some Woodman aluminum bottle cage bolts which weigh just a gram each. There's also a lot lighter cages than that Elite cage that you have on now. Hmmm. Anything else? Oh yeah, American Classic 350 wheels. American classic has a rear wheel that is made solely for 1spd use. The front disc wheel weighs in @ 665g and the rear 1spd wheel weighs in @ 808g, for a grand total of 1473 grams!!! That's all I have for recommendations. For now...

Over and out.
