A few of us from NW VT were going to visit Pine Hill for the 1st time today but just got our plans nixed because of weather. Any suggestions? We are hoping to leave in the next hour or so. We hear the Waterbury trails are closed. We've never been to Hinesburg or Carse trails and would like to try something new. Would this be an option today?

Thanks!

plans? weather?

Plans? Weather? Pine Hill is as set up as it gets. Even with sonme of this rain, you shouldn't expect a washout there. Pretty buffed and well drained. Pay attention to whatever roots and ledges you'd usually watch out for, but should still be good riding there. Inspirational. Maybe not forever, but make you want to have something like it in your town. At your elementary school or town park. Why not?!

+1000000000 on that one, the trails at Pine Hill drain very well, a couple of small mud puddles this week but not bad at all, i love that place, so convenient.

nh dry

rode north conway area yesterday and today. bone dry, no rain, and saw only 1 other rider during my 3 rides there all in different areas. guess the cape got some rain. headed to the cape in the a.m. to lead the cape cod off road epic. a small group of us will be connecting stuff between barnstable, falmouth and bourne. 55-60 miles of fine cape cod singletrack and some road crossings.

long live long rides!
