Hey guys and gals, I made a last minute trip to Utah so i could visit some family and brought my Banshee Prime. I I'm not really familiar with this area but would like to get some rides in while I'm here. I am staying in Kerns until Thursday then West Valley/Jordan through Sunday so any help pointing me in the right direction would be appreciated. Thanks

Nothing really close to there, but the closest to your area would be Salt Lake section of the Bonneville Shoreline Trails (BST) or Corner Canyon trails in Draper. Check out utahmountainbiking.com for trail descriptions/directions to the trailheads.

1. Easy to see that you're from Cali (Kerns vs Kearns)
2. Bonneville Shoreline is great and there is also a bit of single track on the jordan river parkway just south of 4800

Corner Canyon in Draper has some great stuff, including "Rush" (a downhill-only flow trail), Canyon Hollow which is nice both up and down, Ann's as a nice up, Ghost falls for a little more techy trail either way. I would hit all of that over Bonneville trail.

Car directions? Park in the large lot on the west side of the street here:
http://goo.gl/maps/Wc1Dk
Cross the street and access the trailhead in the east side - climbs right off the bat with a few S-turns.

If your want trail maps, look here:
http://www.cornercanyontrails.com/trail-maps/corner-canyon-regional-map/

The parking I linked to above is at the top left of the map - the equestrian center.

You can also find trails and follow yourself on the trails (though I've never actually tried that) at:
