I'm in Hong Kong (Kowloon) for the weekend. I actually come here very often but this is the first time it occurred to me I could go biking....

any idea of what would be the best trail to go ride around here?
How to get there? Where to rent the gear?

I packed light (quick trip) so I need to rent everythig.

Just don't visit the Flying Ball too often, coz time and money will be killed serious!!

HK becomming more and more civilised in citylife, MTB trials in country side is paved and the rest need permition from the local government. thats suck!!

Have you ever think about exploring the MainLand China, more FR/DH/XC and never-ending single treks!!

Yeah, snoop945 is right. I'm living in western China, Yunnan, right now and the riding here is how can I put it, er... limitless? That's right, no rules, no barriers, just ride anywhere you darn please. Trails are not maintained at all, but then it's real 'mountain biking'. I'll like to ride HK too, just to have a look see, but not more, China is where it's at, no off limit trails, just make sure you have a strong bike, that's all.
