Doubletracks are strong. I got a rear flat at the start of our downhill run from the top of Ski Bowl, at Mt Hood. My three friends and three guys from Santa Cruz bikes said "that sucks, we'll help you fix it". I said I'll ride it down with the flat. Then smoked all their asses down Cannonball and the rest of the race course. Way fun, the rear felt like it was on ice.
Rim is still fine, no problem.
