I need to buy new crank arms for my bike. I need them to be compatabile with shimano and an octagonal mount. All the websites seem to only sell cranksets. If there anyplace where i can buy arms or should i just take it to the shop to get them replaced?

Just go to JensonUSA and buy a set of XT cranks for $89, take the rings off and save them for when the cheeze whiz soft Shimano rings you probably currently run wear out, and replace them with the new cheeze whiz soft Shimano rings. A full set of rings costs nearly $89, so think of it like getting the crank arms for free.
