I just can't justify paying $5+ each for these things. Anyone know where I can find them for maybe $2? $3 max? I don't need anything fancy. I don't care what the logo says. Thanks.

Ya I like to buy water from the store (in bottle sized that fit the water bottle mount of course) and just use those for a month or two.

I end up destroying my bottles pretty quick and even if I didn't you want to replace them after a few months anyways to due bacteria and mold.

You can freeze the bottle when you're not using to keep out mold/bacteria but constantly putting them in the freezer and taking them out warps them out pretty quick so the only thing I've found that works good is buying a $1 water from the store and just doing that every month or two like I described above.

I like to put a small amount of water in the bottle before I freeze it and lay it on its side.
This causes the little amount of water to freeze along the side so that when you add water you get the most surface area out of your ice.

Whoever thought there could be so much thought to a wter bottle? LOL

Camelback. + Don't use store bought spring water style bottles and reuse them. I heard they can get pretty nasty when it comes to bacteria. Even when you wash them out well. Nothing napalm can't fix.

I don't see how that would apply more to a store bought bottle vs. a camelback.

Don't get me wrong, a camelback is the best solution to the water problem but I kinda like my store bought bottle idea as an alt.

Do you guys carry around a metal water bottle or something?

Are not all water bottles plastic?

Even ones from the store are not going to break down to toxic levels after a month or two worth of use, no way.

That would be a lawsuit waiting to happen if what you're saying is true.

I still need a camelbak though.
