Well I am finally going to get a break from school and work within a week, and wanted to know the best places to ride DH/ Freeride trails in SoCal.

Anything from the LA area on down to the SD border.

Basically I want to get the majority vote on the best places to go. The way I see it I will have plenty of time to go out and travel to a different place each day, but if I am going to do that I want to make sure it is worth the travel.

This is where you locals come in. There are some cool spots here in SD, but I know there are several other places besides here.

I don't mind hike a bike if the ride down is worth it, but shuttle runs will also be an option as I will try to get some of my friends to tag along also.

Pasadena, The San Gabriel Mountains got many trails. Some are technical DH stuff. Check out Geoladders.com . They got trail maps there.

The best trails are usually the ones nobody wants to talk about that way the stay the best :D
Yeah I am really looking for some really good trials to check out. I know the best are normally kept on the down low.

So far the best bet is to look on that Geoladders.com website. It seems that there might be some trails I could check out outside of San Diego.

Ted williams is cool, but I wanted to see what else is out there. besides some of the trails I already know here in SD and outside of SD.

I am pretty sure I will be hitting up the usual SD sites with a few other that I have in mind in other places.

well since I am not really getting the best places. I guess I am going to have to settle for whats out there.

Either that or make my best judgement on what would be pretty cool to check out.
There's a fun trail in Lake Elsinore. RadChad knows whats up with that. I've heard Simpson Park in Hemet is pretty good too, I haven't ridden there though.

Settling in Baja well I'm just gonna have to wait for the race in Ensenada next year to try that one out.

Unless I find out where that trail is before that......

Everywhere else in above the border. well yes i will settle......
